What will I learn about in ecoDriving?

ecoDriving will show both new and experienced drivers how to safely save on fuel and vehicle maintenance costs. In this course you will learn some strategies that can help you use less fuel, save money and reduce your carbon footprint. In fact, the 25 minutes you spend completing this course will give you information that will help you save up to 25% in your future fuel costs. That could add up to a lot of extra cash in your pocket!

How long will it take me to complete the course?

It should take 25 minutes to complete the course.


Are there hard copy course materials provided?

No. This course is taken online through our Learning Management System (LMS). The only thing you need to take this course is a computer with internet access and Flash.


Once I have completed the course, do I get a certificate?

Yes! Once you have successfully completed the course survey at the end of the course, you can access your certificate of completion by clicking on the Certificates tab at the top of the home page.


Why do I need to download Flash to view the course?

Throughout the course, you will be watching videos and participating in interactive activities that require Flash. Click here to check if you have Flash installed. If you need to install Flash on your computer, click here.


What if I forget my password?

  1. Go to http://stantec.informetica.com.
  2. Click on Forgot Your Password?
  3. Enter your username (hint: it is usually your email address).
  4. Click Send.

You should receive your login information within a few minutes.


What are some other resources that are available?

The E3 Fleet Program is a national program that helps public and private sector fleets meet green standards and improve performance. Members gain access to helpful information, tools and resources, and have the opportunity to become green rated, based on 10 action areas. Driver training is recognized under the E3 credit system, and can earn a fleet up to 15 points towards E3 Fleet Rating.
